swirl hats & headpieces
Created from sinamay, a natural straw fabric made from abaca fibers.
The swirl hats are created by fusing two pieces of sinamay together with heat & pressure. Patterns are added between the layers using flowers & fabric and then swirled.
Each piece is unique & adorned with buttons, pearls or beads, with floral details at the back. Swirl hats sit on a sinamay base with comb and elastic attached.
